So here's me summed up to a tee. It's a short novel. Ok... in 1998-2006 I spent those 8 years in the Army. Battled PTSD for 14 long years. I'm far from broken. I finally addressed PTSD with the VA from 18 months. Two years ago I did this. Hardest thing ever. Took long time to heal during that period from ex wife cheating and cruel verbal abuse plus addressing PTSD. But I'm blessed. Even tho PTSD will always exist... it's controlled now. I love myself again. I'm ready to give 💯 to just one. I pray that before God calls me home that I will truly feel and know the truest love of a one woman. i was raised mainly by my grandparents. the old school values. always been told i was a rare amazing catch. unfortunately my picker in a companion was broke. married twice which both ended up with a total of 8 affairs combined on me. but i am nobodys victim and still very much understand my worth even if having a old soul is rare. U will find very quickly I'm 💯 honest over everything including my own faults in relationships and bad decisions of my past. I have no issue talking about the bad. I will tell you this one thing. 2 years ago when I decided to get the help to better myself as a man, I also made a pact with myself. I would remain absitent during the whole painful process. It never heals internal and mental pain and stress. I'm very proud to say I have done exactly that. Biggest reasons why is because I only crave one more relationship. The one soulmate to grow old with. The one where we are on porch one day to see our legacies in kids and grands play out in the yard. The one where we are old and grey, yet seeing you come down hallway and drag you in closet with me to make out for a few. 😂 I'm a hopeless romantic. First and foremost. Please understand I'm a a SUPER affectionate man. But the little things like holding hands, constant kisses, soft touches on the skin. These are things that I'm hoping my partner does as well. Lots of woman aren't that affectionate. Trust me on that. I believe in the little things in a relationship. Kinda like if we were in a relationship today. Then tomorrow I'd want to start over pursuing you all over again. Only difference is it would be more intense and flirtatious. Just keeping everything fresh going forward always. It's like the "love cup." It stays full between us as long as we both put in for each other. We both sip the beautiful things we do for each other, but give again to keep cup full. Kinda corny probably. But makes sense to me. It runs dry if only one puts in while the other just receives. I have only one child. She grown, married and I have now 2 beautiful grands. So why am I single? It's easy... so many broken and damaged women out there. Mostly in their 30's I've noticed. They aren't used to a gentleman. That much is very true. I was told twice last year that I was "too good to be true." Both ghosted and went back to abusive ex. I'm not sure where things went wrong with these men today. But I do know not all of us all like that.
