I've been in the Canadian Forces since I was 18 years old. I'm 58 now and still serving, so that makes 40 years as a soldier to date. I've been around the world and back. I'm self taught in a lot of things but I don't consider myself an expert in anything in particular, other than my job which I don't count. My favorite musician/singer is Bob Dylan, my favorite female singer of all time is Janis Joplin. I dabble in guitar and am self-taught. My favorite sport is hockey which I played for years and still can but don't. I'm not a fanatic about anything. I am especially into self-actualization, spirituality, meditation, Yoga, some Pilates, but again, I am not fanatical about anything in particular. And, yes, I have a great sense of humor, sometimes way out of proportion to my age as my two boys tell me.

A nice long walk on a beautiful spring or summer evening followed by dinner at a quaint restaurant (quaint sometimes meaning whatever we happen upon), and some live or recorded music that's not too loud and allows us to share at will.
