I grew up in Florida but now live in North Carolina. What I am looking for is a man between the ages of 45 and 60 who lives within 50 miles of me for dating and a possible long-term relationship. I am divorced and I do a lot of volunteer work with our local domestic violence agency. I also work for the Sheriff’s department and my work is very important to me. I have dreams and goals for my life, and would like to share these with someone special as well as share in his dreams and goals. One thing though, I want someone who doesn’t do drugs, smokes or drinks heavily…I do not do any of these, I also want someone who is a Christian and active in church attendance and in church activities…this is the most important aspect I am looking for in a man. I want someone who is non-violent and respectful of all people, compassionate and honest. Communication is key in any relationship and he must be willing to communicate vocally by phone…texting is ok but I will not have a conversation by text. A great sense of humor, intelligence and great conversationalist is something I am looking for as well as dating to get to know him. I also believe relationships are developed over time…start slow and build through time. I enjoy various activities…dancing and music, antiquing, spending time outdoors, going to the beach, going to movies, the theater, taking a day drive and seeing new areas, I’m a chocoholic…dark chocolate is the best! Music genres I like best are classic rock, contemporary Christian, country, Celtic and classical…I like other genres too but these are my favorites.
