I work as a Data Science Consultant and identify as a skeptical humanist. I am well educated and love animals, even if living in the Seattle area means animals are vulnerable to more diseases and can be harder to take care. I am not a religious person and do not identify with the libertarian crowd. I do have a sense of humor that can be accidentally biting at times. I'm pretty good at giving people space because I need it too. My fave fantasy book is Lord of the Rings, even though I tend to read non-fiction.
I have one 3 month old kitten that I just newly adopted because she was unwanted. I might end up with two more cats that I had before, for a total of three pet cats. I've raised each of them as kittens and have trained them to respond to their names. Most cats and animals tend to like me.
I appreciate pleasant conversations where both parties come out learning more about themselves and each other. Love going out to try new foods and cultural activities. I don't look the demographic but I actually like most operas, although I never warmed up to ballet. Outside of opera, I enjoy hard rock music like Tool, Marilyn Manson, early NIN. I also like to channel surf rock radio stations for catchy rock songs.
I've always been aloof with previous relationships until the last few years but am ready to be closer to someone. I haven't found the right person yet. I hope to meet and find a great companion and closest friend!
